A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated
section twenty-three, relating to authorizing the board of
accountancy to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the board and rules of professional conduct.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section
twenty-three, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND BOARDS
TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-23. Board of accountancy.

The legislative rule filed in the state register on the
twenty-seventh day of July, two thousand one, under the
authority of section five, article nine, chapter thirty, of this
code, modified by the board of accountancy to meet the
objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and
refiled in the state register on the twenty-eighth day of
November, two thousand one, relating to the board of accountancy
(board rules and rules of professional conduct, 1 CSR 1), is
authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of
Accountancy to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the
Board and Rules of Professional Conduct.
